Beyond still photography, it supports versatile video recording capabilities, including 1080p at 30 frames per second, 720p at 60 frames per second, and 640×480 resolution at up to 90 frames per second.

Connecting to your Raspberry Pi is straightforward, utilizing one of the small dedicated CSI (Camera Serial Interface) sockets on the board’s upper surface via a supplied ribbon cable. The compact size of 25mm x 23mm x 9mm and a weight of just over 3g make it ideal for mobile, drone, and space-constrained applications. It is fully compatible with Raspberry Pi 1, 2, and 3 models, and its functionality is supported within the latest versions of the Raspbian operating system.
