Pro-Range PR12-P120-100-1/4 Pressure Transducer, 0-100 psi, 0.5-4.5V Output, NPT1/4 Thread

The transducer's ratiometric 0.5-4.5V output is designed to operate with a standard 5V DC supply. The output voltage scales linearly with this supply; therefore, a stable, regulated 5V source is critical for accurate pressure reading. Exceeding the maximum supply voltage can damage the internal sensing circuitry.

Connect the transducer's power (5V) and ground pins to your controller. The signal wire (0.5-4.5V output) connects to an analog input pin on an Arduino or a 0-5V analog input module on a PLC. You will then map the analog reading (e.g., 0-1023 on a 10-bit ADC) to the 0-100 psi pressure range using a linear scaling formula in your code or PLC logic.

While the NPT1/4 thread provides a sealed connection, the sensor's media compatibility depends on the internal diaphragm and housing material (typically stainless steel). It is suitable for clean, non-corrosive gases and liquids compatible with stainless steel. For aggressive media, confirm the specific wetted materials with the manufacturer prior to installation.

The transducer is factory calibrated for the specified 0.5-4.5V output across 0-100 psi. Re-calibration is generally not required for standard use. For custom output signals (e.g., 4-20mA, 0-10V, RS485) or different pressure ranges, contact the manufacturer (Pro-Range) as these are typically offered as OEM customization options.
