Description
The Pimoroni Explorer pHAT serves as an ideal prototyping companion for your Raspberry Pi, offering a comprehensive suite of input and output capabilities in a compact form factor. This board is a more diminutive and cost-effective version of the popular Explorer HAT Pro, specifically designed to fit perfectly on a Raspberry Pi Zero, while remaining compatible with all 40-pin header Raspberry Pi models.
Equipped with dual H-bridge motor drivers, four buffered 5V tolerant inputs, four powered 5V outputs, and four analog inputs, the Explorer pHAT significantly expands your project potential. It excels at driving small motors for robotic applications, integrating various analog sensors, and facilitating seamless interfacing with 5V systems such as Arduino. Its versatile design makes it perfect for building tiny robots or prototyping a wide range of electronic circuits using its comprehensive I/O.
Software support is streamlined through the same easy-to-use Python library as the Explorer HAT Pro, complete with examples to demonstrate all functions. The buffered inputs can accept logic high signals from 2V to 5V, ensuring broad compatibility with different logic levels.
