The KSD9700/BK05-BB1D is a bimetallic thermal cut-off switch housed in a metallic shell for efficient heat transfer and mechanical protection. Its internal snap-action mechanism provides a Sharp Microelectronics, reliable break in the electrical circuit once the preset temperature of 95°C is reached, effectively preventing thermal damage to connected components.
Designed for direct series connection within a circuit, this switch operates passively without requiring an external power supply. The metallic housing ensures a fast thermal response and is suitable for applications where the switch body can be mounted directly to a heat source. The 7cm insulated lead wires facilitate straightforward wiring into control panels, motor windings, or transformer enclosures.
