The KSD9700/BK05-BB1D is a bimetallic disc-type thermal switch housed in a metallic shell. When the surrounding temperature reaches its calibrated setpoint of 105°C, the internal bimetallic element snaps, mechanically opening the normally closed contacts to interrupt the circuit.
