The KSD301 is a bimetallic disc thermostat housed in a durable ceramic package. It operates on a snap-action principle: when the ambient temperature reaches its factory-calibrated 90°C set point, the bimetallic disc deflects, instantly opening the normally closed (NC) contacts to break the circuit. This provides fail-safe thermal protection.
Its ceramic construction offers excellent electrical insulation and withstands high temperatures, making it suitable for direct mounting on hot surfaces like heater blocks, motor housings, or within power enclosures.
