eSUN PETG+ 1.75mm 3D filament combines the key benefits of both ABS and PLA, offering a material that is easy to print while providing superior toughness and enhanced heat resistance. This modified Polyethylene terephthalate glycol (PETG) thermoplastic delivers robust mechanical parts with excellent layer adhesion and a degree of flexibility, making it a versatile choice for functional prototypes and end-use components.
Printing with eSUN PETG+ is comparable in ease to PLA, though it benefits from careful first-layer squish to prevent blobbing around the nozzle. Its strong self-bonding ensures highly durable prints that are bendable rather than brittle. PETG+ exhibits low shrinkage, facilitating printing even without a heated bed, although a bed temperature of 65°C is recommended for optimal adhesion and easy removal upon cooling. The material prints almost odorless and, especially in neutral palettes, can achieve beautiful, glass-like transparency.
