The AD8232 is a dedicated, integrated signal conditioning block designed for ECG and other biopotential measurement applications. It amplifies the small electrical signals generated by the heart while filtering out noise caused by motion, electrode placement, and electromagnetic interference, making it suitable for capturing clear PR and QT intervals.
This module breaks out critical connections including RA (Right Arm), LA (Left Arm), RL (Right Leg), OUTPUT, 3.3V, GND, and a shutdown (SDN) pin. It features a pulsating LED indicator synchronized with the heartbeat and is intended for prototyping, fitness monitoring, and biological signal acquisition in non-medical, educational, or research contexts.
