XKB Connection SW-168DZW-9G Double Ball Tilt/Vibration Sensor
The XKB Connection SW-168DZW-9G is a double ball-type tilt and vibration trigger switch designed for reliable single-direction sensing in electronic circuits. It operates on a low voltage (<12V) and current (<20mA), making it compatible with a wide range of microcontroller systems including Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and industrial PLCs for tilt detection and vibration alarm applications.
Features
- Double ball-type single-direction tilt/vibration trigger mechanism.
- Low operating voltage (<12V DC) and current consumption (<20mA).
- Fast 2ms conduction time for responsive state change.
- Fully sealed, waterproof, and dustproof construction for durability.
- High-temperature resistance up to 120°C for robust operation.

The SW-168DZW-9G utilizes a mechanical double-ball design housed within a sealed enclosure. When the sensor is tilted beyond its 10° threshold or subjected to sufficient vibration, the internal balls shift to close the electrical contacts, changing the output state from open (OFF) to closed (ON). This provides a simple, reliable digital signal for tilt or vibration detection.
Engineered for stability, the switch features a closed-circuit resistance of less than 10mΩ and an open-circuit resistance greater than 10MΩ, ensuring clear signal distinction. Its fully sealed construction protects the internal mechanism from moisture and dust, supporting an operational life of up to 100,000 cycles in demanding environments.
