The ADT75ARZ from Analog Devices is a monolithic digital temperature sensor that converts temperature directly into a digital signal. It utilizes an on-chip bandgap temperature sensor and a sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter to achieve high resolution and accuracy. The sensor communicates via a standard I2C/SMBus interface, allowing for easy daisy-chaining and communication with a wide range of host processors.
Designed for reliability, the ADT75ARZ operates from a 3.0V to 5.5V supply, making it compatible with both 3.3V and 5V logic systems. Its small footprint and digital output eliminate the need for signal conditioning circuitry, simplifying design and reducing overall system cost in temperature monitoring and control applications.
