The Renke SHT-58 probe utilizes the Sensirion SHT35 MEMS-based sensor element, which employs a capacitive polymer for humidity sensing and a band-gap temperature sensor. The sensor provides fully calibrated, linearized digital signals via the I2C bus, eliminating the need for external signal conditioning. Its robust stainless steel housing protects the sensing element while ensuring a fast thermal response.
Designed for continuous monitoring, the probe offers excellent long-term stability and low power consumption, making it ideal for battery-powered IoT nodes and embedded systems. The digital output ensures high noise immunity in electrically noisy industrial environments compared to analog sensors.
