The KSD301 is a bimetallic snap-action thermostat that opens or closes an electrical circuit based on a preset temperature threshold. The bimetallic disc deforms with temperature change, triggering a mechanical snap-action switch for reliable, repeatable operation at the calibrated setpoint of 50°C.
Housed in a Bakelite case, the device offers good electrical insulation and resistance to moderate heat.
