The SHT41 sensor from Sensirion utilizes a CMOSens® chip technology that integrates a capacitive polymer humidity sensor and a band-gap temperature sensor on a single silicon die. This monolithic design ensures high signal quality, minimal thermal hysteresis, and excellent long-term stability. The sensor’s signal conditioning, analog-to-digital conversion, and calibration data are handled internally, providing a fully calibrated, linearized digital output.
Engineered for reliability, the SHT41 is fully functional in condensing environments and is qualified to JEDEC JESD47 standards, offering NIST-traceable accuracy. Its low-power architecture makes it ideal for battery-powered monitoring systems, while the I2C fast-mode-plus interface enables rapid data acquisition with integrated data integrity checks.
