The 5-Channel Flame Sensor Module is an infrared-based detector designed for fire detection in robotics, industrial safety, and automated systems. Its multi-element sensor array provides a wide detection angle exceeding 120 degrees, enabling reliable monitoring of a large area. The module senses the characteristic infrared radiation emitted by flames within the 760nm to 1100nm spectrum.
It outputs both a variable analog voltage proportional to IR intensity and a digital signal that triggers when a user-defined threshold is exceeded, set via the onboard potentiometer. This dual-output design allows for both precise flame intensity measurement and simple on/off alarm functionality. The board incorporates precision 1% tolerance resistors for stable and reliable signal conditioning.
