This sensor utilizes a passive infrared (PIR) pyroelectric element to detect changes in infrared radiation, typically emitted by warm bodies in motion. The onboard chipset digitizes the analog signal, providing a clean, debounced 3.3V TTL-level output that transitions from low (0V) to high (3V) upon detection, simplifying integration with microcontrollers like Arduino, ESP32, or Raspberry Pi.
Its compact, integrated design eliminates the need for complex external circuitry required by conventional PIR sensors, offering higher reliability and a smaller footprint. The module is engineered for long-term stability in a wide temperature range, making it suitable for both indoor and protected outdoor applications.
