The HW-MD6 utilizes microwave Doppler radar technology to detect motion by sensing changes in the reflected frequency of its 2.5-3.2GHz transmitted signal. This principle allows it to penetrate non-metallic materials like plastic, glass, and thin walls, making it suitable for concealed installations where PIR sensors may fail. The module outputs a clean 3V high-level signal upon detection, reverting to 0V after the user-adjustable delay period.
