This inductive proximity sensor operates on the principle of electromagnetic induction. An internal oscillator generates a high-frequency field at the sensing face. When a metal object enters this field, eddy currents are induced, causing a change in oscillation amplitude that is detected by the internal circuit, triggering the solid-state NPN output switch.
Built with a metal sensing face for durability and a plastic housing, the sensor is designed for reliable performance in industrial settings. The integrated 1.15-meter cable provides convenient connection, while the wide voltage range ensures compatibility with common 12V, 24V, and 36V DC control systems.
