This three-cup anemometer operates on the principle of converting rotational speed, induced by wind, into a precise 4-20mA analog current signal. The current output is inherently resistant to voltage drop over long cable runs, making it ideal for remote monitoring stations and industrial SCADA systems. The sensor’s internal signal conditioning circuitry ensures a linear relationship between wind speed (0-30 m/s) and the output current, providing a reliable measurement for process control and data acquisition.
Constructed with a precision-cast aluminum alloy body and cups, the sensor is engineered for long-term exposure to harsh weather conditions, including rain, salt spray, and UV radiation. The integrated military-grade plug and sealed internal electronics provide a high degree of waterproofing and corrosion protection, ensuring parameter stability and reliable performance across its extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +80°C.
