FrSky TWIN Lite Pro Module

The module is designed for FrSky radios running the ETHOS operating system, such as the X20, X18, and similar models. It plugs into the external module bay to add TW protocol and multi-protocol functionality. It is not compatible with older FrSky transmitters using other operating systems without ETHOS support.

Traditional active-standby redundancy uses a primary receiver while a secondary sits idle, only taking over if the primary fails. The TW protocol runs two 2.4GHz frequency bands simultaneously and actively on both the module and receiver, continuously blending signals for lower latency (<4ms) and higher reliability without a switchover delay.

Yes. In addition to the native TW mode, the TWIN Lite Pro Module supports ACCST D16, ACCESS, and ExpressLRS 2.4GHz protocols. You can select the desired protocol via your ETHOS radio's menu to bind with a wide range of FrSky and third-party receivers.

Range is highly dependent on antenna placement, environment, and receiver sensitivity. Under ideal, open conditions with appropriate antennas, the 500mW setting can provide a reliable control link for tens of kilometers. Always adhere to local radio transmission regulations regarding maximum allowable power.

After physical installation, you must configure the external module within the ETHOS radio setup. Select 'TWIN Pro' as the module type and then choose your desired operating protocol (TW, ACCST, ACCESS, or ELRS). RF power output and other telemetry options are also configurable within the ETHOS interface.
