Generic Personal Hand-Pull 120dB Emergency Alarm Keychain

To activate the alarm, firmly pull the metal pin out from the main body of the keychain device. This completes an internal circuit, triggering the piezoelectric sounder to emit the continuous 120-decibel siren. To stop the alarm, simply re-insert the pin back into its original slot, which breaks the circuit and silences the sounder immediately.

This alarm keychain requires user-supplied button cells, typically LR44 or similar 1.5V batteries, but the exact type is not specified. To install them, you will need to open the battery compartment, usually located on the back with a small screw or slide cover. Insert the new cells observing the correct polarity (+/-) as marked inside the compartment, then securely close the cover. Always use fresh batteries to ensure the alarm reaches its full 120dB output potential.

Yes, the 120-decibel output is comparable to the volume of a chainsaw or ambulance siren, which is significantly above normal conversation levels and is designed to be both startling and attention-grabbing. This high intensity can disorient a potential attacker and effectively alert people within a considerable radius to your distress, making it a potent auditory deterrent in public or semi-public spaces for personal safety.
