PST WFC37 Tuya Smart WiFi RGBCW Candle LED Bulb

Download the TuyaSmart or Smart Life app, create an account, and power on the bulb. In the app, add a new device, select 'Lighting' and then 'Wi-Fi Light'. Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (5GHz is not supported). Follow the in-app instructions to put the bulb into pairing mode (typically by turning it on/off several times). The app will discover the bulb, prompt you to enter your Wi-Fi password, and complete the connection. The bulb will then be controllable remotely and via voice assistants.

RGB bulbs mix Red, Green, and Blue LEDs to create a wide spectrum of colors but typically produce a less pure white light. The PST WFC37 is RGBCW, meaning it adds dedicated Cool White and Warm White LEDs. This allows for not only vibrant colors but also a much broader and more accurate range of tunable white light temperatures, from a warm, cozy yellowish white (around 2700K) to a bright, daylight white (around 6500K), providing greater flexibility for different lighting moods and tasks.

For remote control and voice commands via Alexa/Google, an active internet connection is required as commands route through the Tuya cloud. However, if your local Wi-Fi network is active but the internet is down, you may still control the bulb from within the same network using the TuyaSmart app in 'Local Mode' if your router and app support it. For basic manual control, the bulb can always be operated using a standard physical wall switch, turning it on and off, though smart features will be unavailable.

The most common setup failure is attempting to connect using a 5GHz Wi-Fi band; the module only supports 2.4GHz. Ensure your phone is temporarily switched to your 2.4GHz network. Other issues include an incorrect Wi-Fi password entered in the app, the bulb being too far from the router during pairing, or firewall/router settings blocking the device. Power cycle your router and the bulb, ensure the bulb is in pairing mode (fast blinking), and disable any VPN on your phone during the setup process to resolve connectivity problems.
