The SWYAM Wireless Kinetic Switch is an innovative IoT device that modernizes lighting control by combining energy harvesting with robust wireless connectivity. The switch unit itself is completely self-contained, using a kinetic generator to power its 433MHz RF transmitter with each press, sending a signal to a separate AC-powered receiver module. This receiver bridges the connection, offering both RF433 and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) interfaces for integration into the Tuya smart home ecosystem.
This architecture allows for flexible control scenarios: local control via the kinetic switch or included RF remote, and remote management through the Smart Life app or voice assistants. The system’s standby power consumption is effectively zero for the switch, while the receiver operates on standard AC mains voltage (100-240V).
