Description
The LilyGO T-Display development board combines the powerful ESP32 Wi-Fi/Bluetooth SoC with a compact, color IPS display, creating an all-in-one platform for IoT prototypes and embedded GUI applications. Its integrated design eliminates the need for external wiring to a separate screen, streamlining development for smart home controllers, portable data loggers, and wireless sensor nodes.
Powered by the ESP32-D0WDQ6 chip running at 240MHz, the board provides ample processing headroom for running wireless communication stacks and driving the display simultaneously. The onboard CP2104 USB-to-serial converter ensures reliable communication with development environments like Arduino IDE, PlatformIO, or ESP-IDF via the modern USB Type-C port, which also supplies power from 2.7V to 4.2V.
Designed for field deployment, the board includes a dedicated connector for a Li-Po battery and a management circuit that handles charging and power path switching. This, combined with the ESP32’s deep sleep capabilities, enables the creation of long-lasting, battery-operated devices. The board’s compact footprint and pre-soldered headers offer a balance between functionality and ease of integration into enclosures.
