The NICEMCU BW16E Development Board integrates the RTL8720DN wireless SoC, providing robust dual-band Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n) and Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0 connectivity in a compact, prototyping-friendly form factor. Its dual-core ARM V8 architecture pairs a high-performance Cortex-M4F core with an ultra-low-power Cortex-M0 core, enabling efficient power management for battery-operated IoT nodes.
The board features a standard NodeMCU layout, granting developers easy access to a full suite of interfaces including multiple UARTs, SPI, I2C, ADC channels, and PWM outputs. The integrated solderless PCB antenna simplifies deployment, while the 4MB flash memory provides ample space for application code and file systems.
