Description

The Arducam B0303R camera module redefines high-resolution imaging for embedded systems by packing a 12.3MP 477M sensor into an exceptionally compact 24x25mm board. This design achieves optical parity with the larger IMX477 sensor, offering identical pixel size and frame rates while drastically reducing the physical footprint. The module connects via a standard 2-lane MIPI CSI-2 interface, ensuring low-latency, high-bandwidth data transfer to the Raspberry Pi’s GPU for real-time image processing.

Engineered for developer convenience, the module operates with native driver support in Raspberry Pi OS, eliminating complex firmware flashing or kernel compilation. The integrated 1/2.3-inch 6-element lens provides a 120° diagonal field of view with minimal distortion, optimized for visible light capture through its fixed IR-cut filter. With a peak current draw of 300mA, it is suitable for projects powered directly from the Raspberry Pi’s GPIO or USB ports, making it a versatile solution for portable and fixed-installation vision systems.
