Description
The Elecrow nRFLRCC68 module delivers a consolidated wireless solution by pairing the processing capabilities of the Nordic Semiconductor nRF52840 SoC with the long-range LoRa performance of the Semtech LLCC68. This integration provides a robust platform for developers building complex IoT endpoints that require both local mesh connectivity (via BLE/Zigbee) and wide-area backhaul (via LoRaWAN). The nRF52840 handles application logic, secure Bluetooth pairing, and network stack management, while the LLCC68 transceiver handles efficient, long-distance sub-GHz communication with a high link budget.
Engineered for low-power field deployment, the module operates from a 1.8V to 3.7V supply and maintains full functionality across an industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. Its compact 20×20 mm form factor incorporates a crystal oscillator, RF matching network, and a chip antenna (or provision for an external antenna), making it suitable for space-constrained designs. The included AT command set allows for rapid prototyping and configuration of LoRa spreading factors, bandwidth, and Bluetooth advertising parameters without deep firmware development.
