Description
The Arduino Nicla Voice (ABX00061) is a miniature 22.86 x 22.86 mm module engineered for easy implementation of always-on speech recognition at the edge. It integrates Syntiant’s NDP120 Neural Decision processor, designed to run multiple AI algorithms with bio-inspired machine learning, making it suitable for automating complex tasks in constrained environments. Powering its general-purpose and connectivity functions is a Nordic Semiconductor nRF52832 System-on-Chip.
Beyond its advanced AI capabilities, the Nicla Voice comes equipped with a comprehensive sensor suite, including an Infineon Technologies IM69D130 digital MEMS microphone, a Bosch BMI270 6-axis ultra-low power Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), and a Bosch BMM150 3-axis digital geomagnetic sensor. This combination makes it an ideal solution for applications requiring predictive maintenance, gesture/voice recognition, and various contactless interactions. Its onboard Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy connectivity, via the ANNA-B112 module, ensures seamless interaction with existing devices and compatibility within the Arduino Nicla, Portenta, and MKR ecosystems. The board’s ultra-low power consumption supports continuous sensor data processing and standalone battery-powered operation for extended periods.
