The Official Arduino Opta is a robust micro PLC tailored for industrial automation and IoT integration, developed in partnership with Finder. This board allows professionals to scale up automation projects by leveraging the expansive Arduino ecosystem, supporting both standard Arduino sketches and IEC 61131-3 PLC languages like Ladder Logic Diagram (LD) and Function Block Diagram (FBD), specifically catering to PLC engineers.

At its core, the Opta features a powerful STM32H747XI dual-core MCU, combining a Cortex-M7 core at up to 480 MHz and a Cortex-M4 core at up to 240 MHz. This architecture enables real-time control, comprehensive monitoring, and advanced predictive maintenance applications. Designed for secure and durable operation, it supports Over-The-Air (OTA) firmware updates and ensures data security from hardware to cloud via an onboard secure element and X.509 Standard compliance.
