Description
The Arduino Micro is a compact development board leveraging the powerful ATmega32U4 microcontroller, a collaboration between Arduino and Adafruit. Designed for seamless integration into projects, it features an on-board micro USB connection for direct communication with a computer. This eliminates the need for a secondary processor, simplifying setup and allowing the Micro to be recognized as various USB Human Interface Devices (HIDs) such as a mouse or keyboard, alongside a standard virtual serial (CDC) port.
Its unique form factor ensures it can be effortlessly plugged into a breadboard, making it ideal for prototyping and embedded applications where space is at a premium. The ATmega32U4 provides 20 digital input/output pins, including 7 PWM outputs and 12 analog inputs, all operating at a 16 MHz clock speed, offering versatile control for a wide array of sensors, actuators, and external modules.
