Description
The STM32F405xx and STM32F407xx microcontroller family, specifically the STM32F407VET6, is engineered around a high-performance ARM Cortex-M4 32-bit RISC core. This core operates at speeds up to 168 MHz and includes a Floating-Point Unit (FPU) for single-precision data processing, enhancing its capability for complex mathematical operations. Additionally, it features a comprehensive set of DSP instructions and a Memory Protection Unit (MPU) to bolster application security and reliability.
This family integrates substantial high-speed embedded memories, including up to 1 Mbyte of Flash memory and up to 192 Kbytes of SRAM, alongside 4 Kbytes of backup SRAM. The robust connectivity is managed by an extensive range of enhanced I/Os and peripherals, all interconnected via two APB buses, three AHB buses, and a 32-bit multi-AHB bus matrix, ensuring efficient data flow and system integration.
