Description
This CNC Shield V3 is an expansion board designed to seamlessly interface an Arduino UNO with stepper motor drivers for motion control applications. It simplifies the wiring and control of up to four stepper motors, making it ideal for engraving machines, 3D printers, and robotic platforms. Each stepper motor requires only two IO ports, optimizing Arduino resource usage.
The shield supports popular Pololu A4988 compatible drivers, including the DRV8825, allowing for micro-stepping configuration via onboard jumpers. It operates on a wide 12-36V DC input voltage, though users must ensure their chosen stepper drivers can handle the supply voltage. Additionally, it supports PWM spindle and direction control pins, along with coolant enable functionality for comprehensive machine control.
