The Waveshare GPIO Expander is engineered to significantly augment the input/output capabilities of your Raspberry Pi Pico projects. Designed for seamless integration, it features a central female pin header allowing direct attachment of a Raspberry Pi Pico (when soldered with male headers), or can be connected using jumper wires for flexible prototyping.

This expander diversifies your project options by exposing both a standard Raspberry Pi 40-pin header and an additional Pico 2×20-pin header, facilitating connections to a wide array of existing HATs, shields, and modules.
