Description
The UNO Proto Shield is an essential expansion board designed to enhance the prototyping capabilities of your Arduino Uno. It provides a generous 0.1″x0.1″ prototyping grid with large, easy-to-solder pads, allowing for quick and reliable circuit assembly. This shield comes bundled with an SYB-170 mini breadboard, which can be affixed via double-sided adhesive, offering a convenient solderless area for iterative design and testing.
Engineered for versatility, the shield features dedicated areas for various components, including an IC pattern suitable for DIP ICs up to 20 pins. It incorporates power rails for stable voltage distribution, a tactile reset button, and an additional general-use button for custom inputs. Two 3mm general-use LEDs (red and green), complete with matching resistors, provide immediate visual feedback for debugging or status indication. Furthermore, the board includes a pass-thru ICSP stacking header, enabling the integration of additional shields or direct programming via an AVR programmer, ensuring broad compatibility within the Arduino ecosystem.
