The Source One V5 utilizes robust carbon fiber construction, specifically 6mm thick arms, 2mm top/middle plates, and a 2.5mm bottom plate. This layered and substantial material choice significantly increases the frame's resistance to impact forces, distributing stress and minimizing breakage during hard crashes common in freestyle FPV.

This frame is designed to accommodate standard 20x20mm and 30.5x30.5mm stack-mounted flight controllers and ESCs. It also supports various FPV cameras with a standard mounting width. The flexible internal standoff height (30mm and 22mm) allows for diverse component configurations and optimized stacking without compromise.

While engineered for advanced freestyle, its exceptional durability makes it a forgiving platform for beginners learning to fly. The frame can withstand many crashes, reducing the frequency of repairs.
