The SUNLU AMS Heater Module is engineered as a direct upgrade for first-generation AMS units, enabling a crucial improvement in 3D printing workflow: simultaneous filament drying while printing. This innovative heating module transforms the AMS enclosure into a temperature-controlled drying chamber, capable of reaching up to 70°C. Its advanced dual-airflow system ensures consistent heat distribution throughout the entire chamber, effectively combating moisture absorption that commonly degrades hygroscopic filaments like PETG, Nylon, and PC.
By maintaining optimal filament dryness, the AMS Heater prevents common print issues such as stringing, bubbling, and extrusion irregularities, leading to significantly cleaner and more reliable prints. Installation is straightforward, requiring only the removal and replacement of the existing AMS top cover—a process that takes just minutes. Users can precisely control drying parameters, including temperature (35–70°C), humidity (25–50%), and a programmable timer (0–99 hours), ensuring ideal conditions for extended multi-color or multi-material printing projects without impacting the AMS’s spool capacity.
