The Spectra Symbol Flex Sensor FS-L-095-103-MP is a passive resistive sensor designed to measure angular displacement and bending. Its construction features a printed conductive ink pattern on a flexible substrate; as the sensor bends, the conductive material stretches, increasing the electrical path length and thus the measured resistance. This change in resistance is directly proportional to the bend angle, providing a simple analog signal for motion detection.
Engineered for durability within a wide thermal range, this sensor is suitable for integration into dynamic systems. The 1mm thick profile and 95mm active length offer a balance between sensitivity and mechanical robustness. Care must be taken to bend only the designated sensing area to prevent damage to the base connector region.
