Snapmaker Artisan 3-in-1: 3D Printer, Laser & CNC

The Snapmaker Artisan integrates three core functionalities: FDM 3D printing, laser engraving and cutting (with a 10W laser module), and CNC machining (featuring a 200W spindle). Users can quickly switch between these modes using a magnetic quick-swap toolhead system.

The Snapmaker Artisan offers a generous work area of 400mm x 400mm x 400mm. This expansive volume applies to all three functions, allowing for the creation of large objects or multiple smaller parts simultaneously across 3D printing, laser, and CNC operations.

For 3D printing, it supports a wide range of 1.75mm filaments including PLA, ABS, ASA, PETG, TPU, Nylon, and even carbon/glass fiber reinforced nylons. The laser module can engrave/cut wood, acrylic, leather. The CNC module works with wood, acrylic, carbon fiber, and certain soft metals.

The dual extrusion system allows for printing with two different filaments simultaneously. This is particularly useful for creating complex geometries by utilizing dissolvable (e.g., PVA) or breakaway support materials, ensuring cleaner prints and smoother surface finishes on intricate models.

The Snapmaker Artisan employs industrial-grade linear rails for all its axes. These rails provide superior rigidity, stability, and accuracy compared to standard linear guides. This results in consistent, high-quality output, finer details, and excellent repeatability across all its fabrication functions.
