Description

This SMA female to stripping head cable is a semi-rigid coaxial assembly designed for prototyping and integrating RF subsystems. The SMA female connector features a central receptacle and a threaded outer barrel, engineered for reliable mating with standard SMA male interfaces commonly found on Wi-Fi, cellular, and LoRa modules. The opposite end is stripped, with the center conductor and shield separated and pre-tinned, ready for direct soldering to custom antenna traces, test points, or development board headers.

The RG1.13 cable construction maintains a consistent 50-ohm characteristic impedance, critical for minimizing signal reflection and loss in high-frequency wireless links from DC to 18GHz. The use of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) dielectric and metal-shell connectors ensures mechanical durability and stable electrical parameters across temperature variations, making it suitable for both lab bench testing and field-deployed IoT hardware.
