While the concept is similar, these specific heatsinks are precisely sized for the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B's component layout. They are not guaranteed to fit perfectly or provide optimal thermal contact for earlier models like the Raspberry Pi 3B+, which have different chip dimensions and placements. It's recommended for Raspberry Pi 4 only.

Each heatsink comes with a pre-applied self-adhesive thermal layer, making installation straightforward. These heatsinks are designed with a low profile to maximize compatibility. While they generally fit most official and third-party cases, some extremely compact or custom-fitted cases might have clearance issues. They typically do not interfere with standard HATs as their height is minimal and placed away from the GPIO header area.
