For best results, we recommend a nozzle temperature between 190°C and 220°C. Start with 200°C and adjust in 5°C increments to find the sweet spot for your specific printer and part geometry. This range ensures proper melt flow and layer adhesion without thermal degradation, leading to strong and accurate prints.

A heated bed set between 50-60°C is highly recommended for optimal adhesion. Apply a thin layer of PVA glue stick or use a textured PEI sheet. Ensure the print bed is thoroughly clean and level. Proper first layer calibration is crucial to prevent warping and ensure your prints stick firmly.

While PLA is less hygroscopic than other materials, moisture absorption can still lead to print quality issues like stringing or bubbling. For optimal performance, store filament in a dry environment. If you suspect moisture, dry the spool at 45-50°C for 4-6 hours in a filament dryer or convection oven before printing to restore its properties.

Recommended print speeds for Pro-Range PLA range from 50 to 100 mm/s. For intricate details or smaller models, reducing the speed towards the lower end of the spectrum can significantly improve surface finish and accuracy. For larger, less detailed parts, higher speeds within this range are generally acceptable.
