Numakers Tri-Color Silk PLA Filament (Red/Blue/White, 1.75mm)

For best results, use a nozzle temperature between 200-230°C and a heated bed at 30-60°C. Printing speed should be maintained between 40-100 mm/s. Ensure good bed adhesion using PEI, glass, painter's tape, or glue stick for reliable first layers.

To maximize the silk-like glossy finish, print slightly hotter within the recommended temperature range (e.g., 210-220°C) and reduce fan speed slightly, if possible. Printing slower can also enhance surface quality by allowing layers to fuse more thoroughly for a smoother appearance.

While PLA is less hygroscopic than other materials, drying can improve print quality, especially if stored in humid conditions. Dry at 45-50°C for 4-6 hours. Properly dried filament prevents issues like stringing, blobs, and poor layer adhesion, ensuring consistent extrusion and finish.

Tri-color filament excels with models featuring smooth curves or rotational symmetry, where the color transitions can be seen from multiple angles. It's perfect for decorative vases, busts, cosplay props, and artistic sculptures that leverage the gradient effect for visual impact.
