The NTAG215 NFC Tag is a passive, sticker-form transponder operating at the 13.56 MHz high-frequency band, compliant with the NFC Forum Type 2 Tag and ISO/IEC 14443 Type A standards. It is powered entirely by inductive coupling from an NFC reader’s RF field, requiring no internal battery. The integrated NTAG215 IC provides 504 bytes of non-volatile EEPROM memory, organized into configurable data banks for storing URLs, text, or custom commands.
Designed for seamless integration, the tag combines a miniature antenna and chip laminated within a thin, adhesive sticker. Its performance, including the effective read/write distance, is optimized by the integrated antenna geometry and is influenced by the reader’s power and antenna configuration. This tag is engineered for high-reliability applications requiring repeated data updates, with a robust memory endurance rating.
