This motor is specifically designed and optimized for 6S LiPo battery packs, with a nominal voltage of 22.2V. While it may operate on lower voltages like 4S, its performance and efficiency characteristics are tuned for the 6S range. Exceeding 6S (25.2V fully charged) is not recommended.

For 5-inch freestyle or racing quads on 6S, common propeller pairings are lightweight biblade props in the 5x4.3x3 or 5x4.6x2 pitch range. For 3.5-inch or cinewhoop builds, you would typically use 3.5-inch tri-blade propellers. Always monitor motor temperature during initial flights to ensure proper prop matching.

The FS 2204 motor uses the standard M3 mounting screw pattern with 16mm or 19mm hole spacing, compatible with most 5-inch and smaller drone frames. The shaft diameter is the industry-standard 3.0mm for motors of this stator size, compatible with a wide range of prop adapters and propeller hubs.

The titanium shaft reduces rotating mass, allowing the motor to accelerate and decelerate faster for crisper throttle response. The 0.15mm silicon steel stator laminations minimize eddy current losses within the motor core, which increases electrical efficiency, reduces heat generation, and can contribute to longer flight times.
