The KSD301 is a bimetallic disc thermostat that functions as a single-use, normally closed thermal switch. When the ambient temperature reaches its calibrated set point of 90°C, the bimetallic disc snaps, mechanically opening the circuit to cut power to the connected load. This provides a reliable and fail-safe method for over-temperature protection.
Encased in a Bakelite shell, the switch offers excellent electrical insulation and thermal stability.
