The HFS-DC06 module employs continuous-wave (CW) Doppler radar principles at 5.8GHz to detect motion by analyzing frequency shifts in the reflected signal. This technology provides superior penetration through non-metallic materials compared to PIR sensors, making it effective behind thin walls or panels. The module includes onboard sensitivity and timing potentiometers for fine-tuning detection range and trigger duration.
Designed for stable 5V logic systems, it outputs a high-level TTL-compatible signal upon target detection. Proper installation is critical; the module must not be mounted adjacent to large metal surfaces or within fully enclosed metal housings, as this will severely attenuate the RF signal and degrade performance. The module is engineered for integration into automated lighting, security systems, and occupancy monitoring applications.
