The FST100-EC106 sensor employs a high-precision electrode cell to measure the electrical conductivity of a solution, which correlates directly with its ion concentration. An integrated Pt1000 temperature sensor provides automatic compensation, ensuring readings remain accurate across the 0 to 65°C operating range. The sensor’s stainless steel body and IP68 rating guarantee long-term reliability in demanding environments, including fully submerged applications or pressurized pipelines.
Signal conditioning is handled internally, providing both a digital RS485 interface using the Modbus RTU protocol for networked systems and a standard 4-20mA analog output for direct connection to controllers and meters. This dual-output design offers maximum flexibility for water quality monitoring, process control, and environmental data logging.
