eSUN PLA+ HS (High Speed) White filament, 1.75mm, is specifically formulated to meet the rigorous demands of rapid 3D printing. Traditional PLA formulations often experience a decline in physical properties when subjected to high-speed extrusion and cooling rates. To counteract this, eSUN has developed PLA+ HS through extensive material testing, optimizing its melt-flow characteristics and thermal properties for swift processing without sacrificing part integrity. This material ensures that even at elevated print speeds, the filament melts efficiently and solidifies quickly, promoting excellent layer adhesion and reduced warping.
This advanced PLA+ variant offers significantly enhanced toughness and resilience compared to standard PLA. It maintains superior mechanical performance, ensuring that printed parts exhibit robust strength and durability even when produced under accelerated manufacturing timelines. The formulation also contributes to excellent printability, minimizing issues such as brittleness or line breakage, which are common challenges with some high-speed materials. Optimal extrusion temperatures range from 210-230°C, with print speeds typically between 40-100 mm/s, allowing for versatile application in various FDM 3D printers.
