eSUN eResin-eLastic is specifically formulated to bridge the gap between rigid and truly flexible resins, offering a unique blend of properties critical for functional prototypes. It boasts high elongation at break (250-350%), providing excellent elasticity and quick rebound, alongside notable tear resistance and good performance under tensile, bending, and compression forces. This resin facilitates the creation of models that require a certain degree of softness and resilience in their final form.
Compared to previous flexible resin formulations, eResin-eLastic features significantly reduced viscosity, which improves release from the build plate and overall molding success rates, making it relatively easier to print. The resulting parts are softer and more elastic, with enhanced bending performance that allows thicker sections to withstand numerous large-angle bends without failure.
