The DC12V PWM DC Fan Speed Controller is engineered for accurate thermal management in various electronic systems. Operating efficiently on a 12V power supply, this unit precisely regulates the speed of connected DC fans through Pulse Width Modulation (PWM). It includes a dedicated temperature probe, allowing the fan speed to adapt dynamically to real-time temperature fluctuations, ensuring optimal cooling and thermal stability.
This controller features substantial power handling capabilities, providing a maximum current of 5A per output channel and a cumulative bus current of up to 9A. The output ranges are configurable, with the first channel adjustable from 20-100% (or 40-100% when TFL is ON), and the second and third channels offering a 10-100% range. This flexibility supports diverse cooling setups, from single high-power fans to multiple smaller units.
Equipped with critical safety features, the controller includes a high-temperature alarm that activates via a buzzer if thermal limits are exceeded, alongside a stall alarm for minimum fan speeds (700-800 RPM). These safeguards ensure reliable operation and protect sensitive components from overheating, making it an ideal solution for embedded systems, industrial equipment, or UAV components requiring precise and monitored thermal control.
