The Walksnail AVATAR HD Nano Kit, developed by CaddxFPV, represents a compact digital HD FPV solution engineered for performance and integration. The system utilizes the H.265 video codec to deliver high-quality 1080p imagery at 60fps with a remarkably low 22ms end-to-end latency, making it suitable for both freestyle and racing applications. The VTX employs a robust dual-antenna design to maintain a stable video link at distances up to 4km, while its single-board construction and 25.5×25.5mm mounting pattern ensure straightforward installation into most micro and nano drone frames.
Power management is critical for reliable operation; the system accepts a wide 6-25.2V input, compatible with 2S to 6S LiPo batteries. For 6S setups, installing a capacitor (recommended 50V/47uF or higher) on the battery input is essential to suppress voltage ripple and protect the VTX. The kit includes a 170° field-of-view camera with a 2.1mm F2.0 lens, providing a broad, immersive perspective with good low-light performance down to 0.001 Lux.
